Rent one of our high-quality canoes or kayaks for half a day to up to 7 days of paddling a section of the Lower Wisconsin River. Book your canoes and kayaks now.Camp on the sand bars in the center of the river along the way. No permits are needed. Glass, styrofoam and fireworks are strictly prohibited and there is a hefty fine for those who don’t adhere to the policy courtesy of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. We’d be happy to provide transportation for you to paddle your own canoe/kayak on the Lower Wisconsin River.We’re going to say it right up front, we’re in business to rent canoes/kayaks. We’ll do our best to accommodate private boaters, but not at the detriment to our rental customers. This includes taking up seats in our vans when we could be moving rentals customers. These trips are handled on a case by case basis. In general, you’ll drop people and gear at the put-in (usually Boscobel). The driver will then head downriver to your takeout and we’ll pick you up and bring you back upriver on the front end of your trip. This process is somewhat flexible on the weekdays – however, weekends and in
particular Saturdays in July and August we will NOT be able to meet you at a downriver takeout and transport you upriver on the front end of your trip, particularly on Saturday mornings (late in the day is an option – give us a call).
